PeerClock Metronome collects anonymous diagnostic data to improve app stability and user experience. The local network is used only for P2P synchronization between your own devices — no sync data is sent to any external server.
Local Network Usage
PeerClock Metronome uses your local Wi-Fi network to synchronize clocks between devices. This means:
- Sync packets are sent only between devices on the same local network
- No sync data is sent to external servers
- No internet connection is required for synchronization
- Network access requires the Local Network permission on iOS
Data We Collect
PeerClock Metronome uses Firebase, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous diagnostic data. This helps us improve app stability and understand how the app is used.
Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We collect anonymous usage data including:
- App opens and session duration
- Feature usage patterns
- Device type and iOS version
- Anonymous device identifier (not linked to your identity)
Crash Data (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the app crashes, we automatically collect:
- Device type and iOS version
- App version and build number
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Memory and disk usage at time of crash

We do not track you for advertising purposes. PeerClock Metronome:
- Does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Does not share data with advertisers
- Does not track you across other apps or websites
- Does not require App Tracking Transparency permission

PeerClock Metronome uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics (Google)

Data Retention
Crash and analytics data is retained by Firebase according to their standard retention policies. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you.
Children's Privacy
PeerClock Metronome does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The anonymous diagnostic data we collect is not linked to any individual user.
