ChatArchive (hereinafter "the App") is designed with user privacy as the top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled within the App.

1. Data Collection

The App does not collect any personal information or chat data.

No analytics data is collected
No crash reports are automatically sent
No advertising identifiers are obtained
No user behavior tracking is performed

2. Network Communication

The App does not perform any network communication. All data processing is completed locally on your device. All features are available even without an internet connection.

3. Data Processing

The App may access the following data. All of this data is processed only on your device and is never transmitted externally.

Chat database files: Read-only access to the messaging app's local database
Media files: Access to locally cached images, stickers, etc.
.chatarchive files: Processing of archive files that users export and import

4. Encryption Key Handling

Encryption keys used for chat database decryption are handled securely as follows:

Encryption keys are used only in memory during processing
They are never saved to disk or any other persistent storage
They are released from memory when the app is closed

5. Data Storage

Chat data processed by the App is stored only on the local storage of your device. No automatic synchronization to iCloud or other cloud services is performed.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not provide, share, or sell user data to any third parties.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not intentionally collect data from children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary. When changes are made, the latest version will be published on this page.
