TenSync Privacy Policy

TenSync ("the app") collects a small amount of data only to keep the app working well. We do not require an account, do not store data on our own servers, do not show ads, and do not share data beyond what is described below.

Data we collect

• Diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics): When the app crashes, an anonymized crash report is uploaded so we can fix bugs. The report contains stack traces, device model, OS version, and a randomly generated install identifier. No personal information is included.
• Analytics (Firebase Analytics): Anonymized usage events such as app opens and screen views are sent to Google Analytics. This helps us understand which features are used. No precise location, no contact information, no user account is involved.

Data we do not collect

• No accounts, names, or contact information.

• No photos, contacts, microphone, or camera.
• No advertising identifiers.
• No data uploaded by you to our servers.

Local storage

Your best score and settings are stored on your device only, via iOS UserDefaults. They never leave the device.

Sync mode

When TenSync discovers other TenSync devices on the same Wi-Fi network, the app exchanges only the protocol messages needed to synchronize the start of a round (clock-sync packets and a "start at this time" command). No personal data is shared between peers, and the messages do not leave the local network.

Children's privacy

TenSync does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The age rating is 4+ but the app is not directed at children under 13.
